"This fragrance is not an Oriental, but an Arabian and a Lutens. The starting point was a scented candle, forgotten in a wooden box. The amber acquired its imperial dimension after I reworked the composition using kisto, an herb that sticks to the fingers like tar, and I added a hint of vanilla, which no one had imagined before."
