Unutamam, from the first spray, is an intense experience: a flash of broken botanicals and flowers, defying any attempt at a complacent reaction. Even as the florals become smoother and brighter, a smoky, industrial undertone develops, with patchouli, labdanum and castoreum approaching the animalic clot of petroleum, the raw protection of military-style leather.
